Club members were at Aldersley Leisure Village today making circuits of the running track in order to release funds for the benefit of highly deserving local charities.
Every lap completed by the team released money from the Prize Fund, which had been donated by companies and organisations in Wolverhampton, for Compton Hospice - our nominated event charity.
This event, which was organised by the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton is unique in the UK and provides participants the opportunity to take exercise in the knowledge that the calories that are being burnt off are helping to improve the life of others.
