A shoebox may not sound like much of a present but once its been filled with gifts of clothing, stationary equipment and toiletries by the members of our Club it becomes a box of joy when it is distributed to those in underprivileged communities across Eastern Europe as part of the International Aid Trust Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
Many of the items included in the shoeboxes are ones which we take for granted in our daily lives, such as soap, but are precious luxuries for tens of thousands of children and families in these underprivileged communities.
We're pleased to be able to support this worthwhile project once again this year.
