We had a great evening visiting the Air Cadets of 1046 Fordhouses Squadron this evening.
Hosted by Flt Lt RAFAC Trevor Reoch members had the opportunity of inspecting the facilities at the Squadron's base and learning more about the many activities on offer to the Cadets.
We were massively impressed at the work of the civilian volunteers and the dedication of the Cadets who rounded off the evening for us with a Drill demonstration.
The Club has been raising funds for the Squadron this year and it was a pleasure to present Trevor with a cheque which will enable them to retire their existing 35 year old Squadron flag and replace it with new squadron colours later in the year.
